Rangers get back to domestic action as they finish the first phase of the Scottish Premiership with a lunchtime trip to St. Mirren on Sunday.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men will desperately hope for a return to winning ways after what has been a disappointing week. Their title hopes took a huge hit last weekend with a 2-1 defeat to Celtic at Ibrox, before progression in the Europa League was made a whole lot harder courtesy of a 1-0 loss at Braga in the first leg of their quarter-final tie.

They have a good opportunity to end this two-match losing run on Sunday, however, with a trip to lowly St. Mirren, who sit 10th and have lost six of their previous seven in all competitions.

Here's 90min's preview of this clash.

Rangers team news

Van Bronckhorst will once again be without Ianis Hagi and Alfredo Morelos, who both remain on the sidelines through injury.

There are expected to be some changes to the side that played in Portugal on Thursday, with the likes of Filip Helander, Aaron Ramsey and Kemar Roofe stepping into the fold.

St. Mirren vs Rangers score prediction

On the back of a morale-crunching week, this is a key game for the Gers to bounce back and take some momentum into a crucial run-in.

Ahead of their second-leg Europa League clash with Braga, a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic and a second phase in which the currently existing six-point gap at the summit is just about assailable, this Sunday's trip to St. Mirren is a must-win fixture.

Prediction: St. Mirren 0-2 Rangers
