The Spain lineup that should start against Sweden

The days of a nailed on midfield three of Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets are long gone for Spain and their supporters.
Now, there are genuine question marks over nearly every single position, with very few players standing out as 'first name on the team sheet' material. That uncertainty must be causing coach Luis Enrique some severe headaches ahead of their Euro 2020 clash with Sweden on Monday.
So, which lineup should the Spanish coach select for their opening match of the summer tournament? 90min picks the best XI on offer to Enrique.
Spain predicted lineup
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Unai Simon (GK) - To kick us off, we have the goalkeeper dilemma. David de Gea's poor season for Manchester United means he may have surrendered the gloves to Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper Unai Simon. An exciting young keeper.
Marcos Llorente (RB) - The Atletico Madrid star has been the most creative outlet in La Liga this season, but Spain's right-back crisis means Marcos Llorente might be utilised in defence. A waste, but needs must.
Pau Torres (CB) - The first centre-back we think will be selected is Pau Torres. There is a lack of depth in that position, exacerbated by Sergio Ramos' injury, so the Villarreal man is a shoo-in for a spot.
Aymeric Laporte (CB) - Next to Torres is new Spaniard Aymeric Laporte. The Manchester City star is probably their strongest option right now, having switched his national allegiance from France to Spain. A huge coup.
Jordi Alba (LB) - He may be advancing in years, but Jordi Alba remains an excellent left-back. Little question over this position.
2. Midfielders
Thiago Alcantara (CM) - Spain's midfield options are a bit ridiculous, really. Thiago Alcantara should start against Sweden, where he'll be hoping to put a mixed season with Liverpool behind him.
Rodri (CM) - The Premier League's second midfield star at the heart of this Spanish side. Rodri replaces Sergio Busquets in shielding the backline, and his role will be vital to Spain's progress in both halves of the pitch.
Koke (CM) - Atleti's warrior at the heart of their midfield, Koke, should also be wearing the Spanish badge this summer. A workaholic, which will be needed in this creative side.
3. Forwards
Ferran Torres (RW) - Another Man City star, Ferran Torres begins the offensive lineup. The starlet is one to watch this tournament, and could force his way into Pep Guardiola's plans for next year with a stunning summer of action.
Alvaro Morata (ST) - Spain's main concern may be a lack of elite quality in front of goal, but Alvaro Morata is no mug. The Juventus man brings plenty to the team, and if he can stay onside, he'll bang in the goals.
Gerard Moreno (LW) - This guy has earned his shot at international football. Villarreal have been blessed by the goals of Gerard Moreno this season, and it's his relentless assault on the net that sees him cruise into our lineup.
