Southampton travel to Tottenham on Wednesday as they look to continue their recent improved form.

The Saints go into this one fresh off of booking their place in the FA Cup fifth round with an extra-time victory over Championship side Coventry, and prior to that they held Manchester City to a draw at St Mary's.

Here is the starting XI Ralph Hasenhuttl is most likely to select for the midweek fixture...

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Fraser Forster (GK) - Willy Caballero has been impressive when called upon but Forster should be restored for this one.

Mohammed Salisu (CB) - Subject to January interest from Newcastle and it's easy to see why.

Jan Bednarek (CB) - Brings composure at the heart of defence. Lyanco's injury ensures he will be playing a lot of football over the next few months.

Jack Stephens (CB) - The only of Saints' likely back three who played against Coventry. Hopefully his legs hold out...

2. Wing-back & midfielders

Tino Livramento (RWB) - His form has tallied off slightly after an unreal start to the campaign.

James Ward-Prowse (CM) - With Saints likely to be under the cosh, Ward-Prowse's sumptuous set-piece delivery will be important on Wednesday.

Oriol Romeu (CM) - Needs more appreciation. He may not be flashy but Romeu rarely makes a mistake.

Kyle Walker-Peters (LWB) - Scored the extra-time winner that sent his side through to the next round of the FA Cup. Becoming increasingly dangerous when he cuts in from the left.

3. Forwards

Nathan Redmond (RW) - Came on in the first half on Saturday, replacing Lyanco. He should still have enough in the tank to start here.

Che Adams (ST) -
Rested against Coventry, the club who released him as a boy.

Adam Armstrong (LW) -
He was absolutely terrible last time out in the FA Cup, but with Nathan Tella out he remains one of Saints' only options. Needs to improve soon.
