West Ham and Brentford target Serhou Guirassy will be available for around £15.2m during the January transfer window due to a release clause attached to his contract, 90min understands.

Guirassy has, rather surprisingly, been Europe's top marksman during the early months of the 2023/24 season. Having previously only hit double figures on three occasions during his career - just twice in the league - the 27-year-old has bagged a quite stunning 15 goals in nine games in all competitions for VfB Stuttgart since making his move to the club permanent over the summer.

Incredibly, Guirassy has outscored the likes of Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and new Bundesliga star Harry Kane in the opening chunk of the campaign.

That form has notably drawn attention from a number of Premier League clubs in recent weeks, with 90min already reporting that West Ham, Fulham, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth have all sent scouts to watch the Guinea international. 90min also understands that Everton and Burnley have been keeping an eye on Guirassy's form and are keen suitors as well.

Along with Premier League sides, Guirassy is also of interest to Saudi Pro League clubs - who have contacted the player's representatives to confirm their interest - as well as Real Betis, Villarreal and struggling European giants Olympique Lyonnais and Ajax.

Sources has confirmed to 90min that the striker has a release clause attached to his current contract believed to be worth as little as £15.2m (€17.5m), making Guirassy a potential bargain signing during the January window. Stuttgart particularly fear the interest from the Premier League, where financial power would make it hard for clubs in continental Europe to match an offer from England.

Stuttgart have offered their prolific goalscorer a new contract at the MHPArena, however as things stand it is looking increasingly likely that Guirassy will test the market in the new year.
