Sergio Ramos offers update on knee surgery from incredible purple sofa

Real Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos has reassured fans that he is feeling good after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
Ramos had been attempting to play through the pain barrier but found himself unable to join in with a training session on Friday and was referred to the club doctor, who revealed that surgery was the only option.
The news came as a crushing blow for Real Madrid, who are expected to be without their captain for up to seven weeks, but the 34-year-old took to Twitter to reassure fans that he will be back on the pitch soon.

In the video of himself giving an update on his well-being, Ramos' incredible, purple sofa took centre stage. The couch appears to be made from 100% genuine muppet fur.
“Hello everyone, I'm back home now," Ramos said.
"In the end, I had to undergo surgery. Nobody likes to be in that situation. Thank God everything turned out great. It was a medical recommendation and I had no other choice.
“I am very happy with how everything has turned out and I will try to return as soon as possible to help the team because there is a long season ahead. I also want to thank Dr. Leyes and his entire team for their excellent treatment and work during the operation.
“And of course, thanks to all of you for those messages of so much affection that have touched my heart and give me encouragement to come back stronger. A big thank you. We will be back together soon."
The injury could not have come at a worse time for Ramos, who has entered the final six months of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Marca note that talks over a new deal with the Spaniard have been put on hold until Ramos has recovered from his injury, meaning he could hit April without any sign of a new contract.
Real are keen to find an agreement over a new deal but have found themselves unable to strike a deal with Ramos, who wants a two-year contract with a sizeable salary - something the club are reluctant to agree on.
Ramos isn't the only Real centre-back whose Real future is up in the air. Los Blancos will consider selling Raphael Varane in the summer if he declines to extend his contract, which has just 18 months left to run.
