AC Milan have confirmed that Sandro Tonali has signed a new contract at the club, extending his stay at San Siro until June 2027.

The midfielder has been in fantastic form over the last 12 months, scoring five goals last season and establishing himself as a key player as I Rossoneri won a surprise Scudetto.

A statement on the club's official website regarding the extension reads: "AC Milan is delighted to announce the extension of Sandro Tonali's contract until 30 June 2027.

"Sandro, who joined the Club in 2020, is a paragon of determination and attachment to the Rossoneri colours."

According to reports in Italy, the new contract will see Tonali double his salary to around €3m per year.

Addressing the new contract on his Instagram account the midfielder stated: “Hi guys, I’m delighted with my contract renewal and to have extended my stay at Milan. You know how deep my love is for these colours. I thank you for the support you provide us. With your backing, we can achieve great things.”
