Ryan Mason confident Tottenham games won't be disrupted after fans protest against ENIC's ownership

Ryan Mason is confident Tottenham's remaining games won't be impacted by fan protests following the Super League debacle.
Spurs were one of the six English sides who commited to join the defunct breakaway competition, with Manchester United fans in particular voicing their displeasure as they forced the Premier League to postpone their side's clash with Liverpool.
Chelsea and Arsenal fans have staged similar protests, and Spurs supporters finally voiced their concerns on Saturday with vast demonstrations outside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, Mason isn't worried that supporters could disrupt his side's upcoming home clashes with Wolves and Aston Villa, despite the latter of the two seeing Spurs fans return to the stadium en masse for the first time in over a year.
"Firstly, I trust our security," he said as reported by the Daily Mail. "The players' safety is the most important thing and I trust that we'll get that right.
"Secondly, I respect the fans, they're the heart and soul of the football club and their opinion matters, it really does. We want our fans, our team, our football club to be aligned, all pulling in the same direction."
Daniel Levy has come under a lot of criticism from the Tottenham fan base following the Super League saga, though Mason has defended his chairman and says he's looking forward to welcoming Spurs fans back into their stadium.
"Our chairman and our board have done incredibly for this football club in the last 10-15-20 years since they've been here," he added.
"I know how fans see that, I know how fans respect that as well. The most important thing for me is the connection between fans, players and everyone involved in the football club. They're entitled to their opinion, there's also Wednesday next week when they can come and help and support the team.
"I'm sure that's in the back of their minds as well, to get back in our beautiful stadium and hopefully help the team, will be a massive bonus for them."
