Inter conceded a late equaliser and slipped to a 2-2 draw against AS Roma on Saturday afternoon, leaving Antonio Conte's men three points behind league leaders Milan in the title race.

I Nerazzurri fell behind in the 17th minute, when Lorenzo Pellegrini drilled home from the edge of the box following a neat bit of build-up play and a Henrikh Mkhitaryan lay-off.

Inter started the second half well, with Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez both missing wonderful opportunities to peg back the hosts. They were rewarded with their equaliser on 55 minutes, when Milan Skriniar powered home a brilliant header from a corner.

The comeback was complete seven minutes later when Achraf Hakimi cut in onto his left foot and curled a stunning strike in off the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area. But I Nerazzurri dropped their intensity, and were punished by a wonderful Gianluca Mancini header, who flicked the ball into the bottom corner to level up the scores.

Neither side could find the winning goal, and the points were shared in the Italian capital. Let's check out the visitors' player ratings from an exciting afternoon of football at Stadio Olimpico.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Samir Handanovic (GK) - 7/10 - Didn't move to try and stop Pellegrini's strike which, although it took a deflection, travelled extremely slowly towards goal. Much more assured to stop Veretout's thunderbolt and had no chance to stop the second.

Milan Skriniar (CB) - 7/10 - Struggled to cope with Dzeko's movement as he targeted the left-sided centre-back, and couldn't stop Mkhitaryan in full flow. Dragged Inter level with a brilliant header from a corner.

Stefan de Vrij (CB) - 7/10 - Tracked Dzeko well, but struggled to match the Bosnian's towering physical presence. Grew in confidence as Inter began to dominate the match.

Alessandro Bastoni (CB) - 7/10 - Pushed out to the left to carry the ball forward, and had less to do as Roma opted to attack down the opposite flank.

2. Wing-Backs & Midfielders

Achraf Hakimi (RWB) - 8/10 - Allowed Roma to break down his flank for Pellegrini's strike. Very dangerous going forward, and capped it with a stunning curler in off the crossbar to give Inter the lead.

Nicolo Barella (CM) - 8/10 - Complained that he was fouled in the build up to Roma's opener, but he simply was not strong enough and was out-fought by Veretout. Made up for it with relentless pressing and harassing, forcing his opponents into a string of errors.

Marcelo Brozovic (CM) - 8/10 - Always available and open to receive the ball, passed it well and whipped some nice crosses into the box. Could have levelled but saw his shot blocked. Two assists to his name, too.

Arturo Vidal (CM) - 6/10 - Did everything right to almost equalise, but flashed his shot wide after completing the hard work. Should have hit the target. Fluffed a great chance to kill the game, too.

Matteo Darmian (LWB) - 6/10 - Took a blow to the hip midway through the first half. Tried to battle on but couldn't continue. Subbed.

3. Forwards

Romelu Lukaku (ST) - 8/10 - Could have broken the deadlock on at least two occasions, first seeing a header brilliantly saved by Lopez, then firing at a sprawling Smalling. Ran the backline ragged and used his immense strength to fashion chances from nothing.

Lautaro Martinez (ST) - 7/10 - Carved out a great first-half chance for himself with some bullish running, but couldn't beat Lopez. Skewed a free header wide. Spurned another great chance from an almost unmissable position. Offered everything except the finish.
