Tottenham Women have appointed Rehanne Skinner as their new head coach on a contract that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Spurs parted company with long-serving joint managers Karen Hills and Juan Amoros on Thursday and have wasted little time naming their replacement.
Skinner had previously been working as England Women manager Phil Neville's assistant. Prior to taking up that role in September, she had served as head coach for the Three Lions Under-18s-Under-21s sides.
Speaking to the club's official website, Skinner revealed her delight at being offered the position.
“I am really excited to be joining Tottenham Hotspur and cannot wait to get started in the WSL after the international break," she said.
"The club’s philosophy and future plans are something I was really keen to be a part of. They have shown a real commitment to the women’s team and have come a long way in a short period of time which is a credit to all the players and staff involved.
"There is some incredible experience within this squad and I am looking forward to getting to work with the players so we can build on the progress that has been made so far and bring future success to the team."
Skinner brings a wealth of experience to Spurs. Prior to working with England she was assistant manager at a hugely successful Arsenal side. During her time at the club, the Gunners won two WSL titles, two FA Cups and two Continental Cups.
