Real Madrid are preparing a €350m (£292m) package to sign Erling Haaland in the summer.
Haaland is one of the most in-demand players in world football, with a string of top clubs looking to sign him in the summer when his release clause - believed to be around €75m (£62.6m) - is activated.
Real look well-positioned to make their move after cutting their spending over the past few transfer windows and Marca have now given an indication of how much the Norwegian could cost.
In total, project Haaland is likely to set Real back €350m. This figure consists of the aforementioned release clause, his wages over a long-term contract, as well as a fee for the services of the player's agent Mino Raiola.
It represents a significant investment but the signs suggest Haaland would justify the spend. The 21-year-old has netted a frankly ridiculous 78 goals in 81 games since joining Borussia Dortmund in January 2020, as well as bagging 28 assists.
This season is set to be his most prolific yet. He has already managed 15 strikes and 10 assists in 10 league matches this term, and still has plenty of time to get even better.
Real are not only keen on Haaland, with Los Blancos also preparing a blockbuster swoop for Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe's contract expires at the end of the season and despite recent reports suggesting that he could sign a short-term extension, he remains likely to depart on a free transfer this summer.
Real went close to signing the forward before the start of this season, but PSG knocked back their eye-watering bid in favour of getting one more season out of the generational talent.
Mbappe himself was keen on the move though, and looks set to get his wish during the upcoming summer transfer window.
