Real Madrid host second place Real Betis on Saturday in their first game at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.

Los Blancos have played all three of their matches on the road, winning on their trips to Almeria, Celta Vigo and Espanyol.

They face a Betis side who have also won their opening trio of games, led by the goals of Borja Iglesias.

Here's the XI Carlo Ancelotti could pick to secure a fourth victory.

Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Real Betis (4-3-3)

1. Real Madrid XI

GK: Thibaut Courtois - Arguably the best goalkeeper over the past year or so, Courtois is still looking for his first clean sheet of the league season, conceding three in three.

RB: Dani Carvajal - The Spaniard rolled back the years in last season's Champions League final and will hope for an injury-free campaign, especially with Lucas Vazquez waiting in the wings.

CB: Eder Militao - Antonio Rudiger's arrival has put Militao's starting position in jeopardy, but his sound partnership with Alaba should see him start here.

CB: David Alaba - Is one of the world's best at both left back and centre back, seamlessly switching between the two when needed.

LB: Ferland Mendy - Saw off club legend Marcelo in the summer and Alaba's brilliance in the middle means Mendy is the main left back at Real these days.

CM: Toni Kroos - Kroos is adapting to life without Casemiro and recently took a pop at the new Manchester United midfielder, saying: Switching Champions League for Europa League is a big difference."

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni - Casemiro's replacement is Tchouameni, who has impressed with his driving runs and grabbed an assist in the win at Espanyol.

CM: Luka Modric - The Croatian was a little quiet in that victory and might be fighting with Eduardo Camavinga for a starting XI place.

RW: Federico Valverde - Continuing his transition into a winger, though the star quality of Real's attack comes through the middle and on the left. Valverde himself has already scored as many goals this season - one - as he did last term.

ST: Karim Benzema - Has started the season in fine fettle with three goals and will be looking to overhaul Betis' Borja Iglesias, who has four.

LW: Vinicius Junior - The Brazilian is backing up his breakout 2021/22 campaign with an excellent start this time around, starring particularly in the 4-1 win over Celta Vigo with a goal and an assist.
