Real Madrid will be confident of booking their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League when they travel to face Chelsea on Tuesday.

Los Blancos secured a comfortable 2-0 win in the first leg and, while they were triumphing over Cadiz at the weekend, got to watch their upcoming opponents beaten from pillar to post by Brighton on home turf.

Here's the lineup Carlo Ancelotti could use to get the job done.

Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Chelsea (4-3-3)

GK: Thibaut Courtois - The former Blue recently lamented Real's busy schedule but, on an individual level, won't expect to be too busy here.

RB: Dani Carvajal - Often touted as a weak link in Real's defence, the experienced Carvajal was sensational in the first leg.

CB: Eder Militao - Militao put in a top performance against Cadiz and is making a case to be recognised as the game's best defender.

CB: David Alaba - Expect Alaba to get the nod alongside Militao, having been rested in favour of Antonio Rudiger at the weekend.

LB: Eduardo Camavinga - Goalscoring phenom Nacho Fernandez is likely to return to the bench while the young legs of Camavinga return to the starting lineup.

DM: Toni Kroos - Ancelotti wisely left Kroos out of his squad to face Cadiz, allowing the metronomic midfielder the chance to rest and recover.

CM: Luka Modric - Modric saw ten minutes off the bench at the weekend so should be raring to go here.

CM: Federico Valverde - After an impressive showing in the first leg, Valverde should have another significant role for this one.

RW: Rodrygo - He was sensational from the left against Cadiz, but Rodrygo will be bumped over to the right once again.

ST: Karim Benzema - Surprisingly played 90 minutes at the weekend and, perhaps even more surprisingly, didn't find the back of the net in one of the team's most dominant attacking performances of the season.

LW: Vinicius Junior - Preserved specifically for this fixture, Vinicius will be licking his lips at the prospect of tormenting Chelsea's back line again.
