Real Madrid look to bounce back from a rough patch as they host Alaves in La Liga on Saturday.

Carlo Ancelotti has seen his team win just once in five games across all competitions, most recently conceding a last-minute goal to lose 1-0 at Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

With one victory in their previous three league outings, Los Blancos' lead at the summit has been cut down to four points but should be confident of getting back on track with a win against 18th-placed Alaves this weekend. Here's how Ancelotti could line up his side.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois (GK) - Was brilliant (again) in his side's defeat to PSG in midweek and will deservedly continue between the sticks.

Lucas Vazquez (RB) -
Fared better than Dani Carvajal after replacing his compatriot last time out and could push in front of him for this one.

Eder Militao (CB) -
Enjoying an excellent campaign, really becoming a stoic figure at the heart of the Real Madrid back line.

David Alaba (CB) -
Is proving an excellent signing after his free transfer.

Ferland Mendy (LB) -
Didn't have a great game in Paris but managed to avoid injury, so will likely start on Saturday evening.

2. Midfielders

Fede Valverde

Casemiro (DM) - Such a clever and reliable operator at the base of the Los Blancos midfield, who has been booked seven times in his last ten appearances.

Federico Valverde (CM) - Given Real's form, something needs to change - potentially opening the door for Valverde's insatiable dynamism in midfield.

Toni Kroos (CM) - Not as dynamic as the young Uruguayan, but capable of running a game with that glorious right boot.

3. Forwards

Karim Benzema

Rodrygo (RW) - Marco Asensio has started the previous four but Rodrygo could be restored to the side for this one, in search of a first league goal this term.

Karim Benzema (ST) - Will be hoping to get back to his usual untouchable best after a very quiet night in Paris in midweek.

Vinicius Jr (LW) - The same goes for Vinicius who has hit a bit of a lull, having provided just one goal involvement in his previous six outings.
