RB Leipzig are all that stand between Rangers and a spot in the Europa League final.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men are flying in Europe and head to Germany for Thursday's semi-final first leg off the back of four straight victories in all competitions, but Leipzig will fancy their chances of ending their fun.

A surprise defeat to Union Berlin last time out wasn't the best preparation for Leipzig, but they're still fourth in the Bundesliga and were among the favourites to win this competition before the season got underway.

Here's all you need to know about the game.

RB Leipzig team news

Leipzig are in a bit of a rough state right now. Kevin Kampl, Willi Orban and Mohamed Simakan are all suspended after racking up too many yellow cards, while Amadou Haidara remains out with a nasty knee issue.

Fortunately, Lukas Klostermann is back in training and could be thrown straight back into the Leipzig's three-man defence alongside the exciting Josko Gvardiol and possibly left-back Marcel Halstenberg, who was deployed centrally at the weekend.

Rangers team news

Things aren't particularly rosy for Rangers either. Star striker Alfredo Morelos remains out and he has been joined by backup Kemar Roofe, meaning Fashion Sakala should get the nod in attack. Aaron Ramsey is also set to miss out as he nurses a hamstring injury, adding to the issues Van Bronckhorst could face in attack.

In anticipation for this one, a number of big names were rested against Motherwell, including John Lundstram, Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey and Ryan Kent - all of whom can expect to return here.

RB Leipzig vs Rangers score prediction

Rangers' injury list could be their undoing here. They've lost their two top scorers in Morelos and Roofe, while Ramsey's undeniable quality will be a massive miss as well.

They were always going to be up against it in this one. Spearheaded by Christopher Nkunku, Leipzig have been a real danger this year and the German side will expect to score once or twice, and the question is just how many goals Rangers can conjure up themselves.

Sakala and Kent will bring most of Rangers' threat, but it's unlikely to be enough.

Prediction: RB Leipzig 2-0 Rangers
