Rangers will look to overturn a one-goal aggregate deficit when they host Braga in the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday night.

Head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will hope the Ibrox crowd can give his side the edge as they seek to continue their European adventure at the expense of the Portuguese side.

The Gers were narrowly beaten in the first leg courtesy of former Barcelona striker Abel Ruiz's fine first half finish in Braga, but the narrow scoreline means they are still well in the tie.

The eventual winners here will face either RB Leipzig or Atalanta in the semi-finals.

Rangers vs Braga score prediction

Rangers will need to draw upon the energy of a bouncing Ibrox to get themselves right back into the tie on Thursday night.

They have previous against Braga, too, knocking the Portuguese side out of the Europa League round of 32 in February 2020.

However, Braga proved themselves to be a dangerous, technical side in the first leg and this may prove to be a bridge too far for the hosts.

Score prediction: Rangers 1-1 Braga
