Rangers will make their second trip to face Dundee in a week as they aim to close the gap on league leaders Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

The Light Blues sealed their place in the quarter-finas of the Europa League with a 4-2 aggregate victory over Red Star Belgrade in midweek.

It marks the first time in 14 years that the Gers have reached the last eight of a European competition, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men now battling for potential silverware on three fronts towards the end of the season.

Here's how the Light Blues could line up this weekend.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Allan McGregor (GK) - Rangers will hope his heroics over two legs against Red Star Belgrade marks a return to the form for the former Scotland No.1.

James Tavernier (RB) - The heartbeat of this Rangers side, showing promising signs with his link-up on the right hand side with Ramsey last weekend.

Connor Goldson (CB) - Looks set to leave Rangers on a free transfer this summer, with the club facing a sizeable task in replacing him.

Leon Balogun (CB) - Has proven a considerable threat at set-pieces and will be a key player for Rangers during the title run-in.

Calvin Bassey (LB) - Has played every league minute under van Bronckhorst with Borna Barisic suffering a dip in form.

2. Midfielders

Ryan Jack (CM) - His return from injury has boosted Rangers in midfield, and the hope is that he can remain fit for the remainder of the season.

John Lundstram (CM) - Can fill in at centre-half if required, but his bite and industry in midfield is vital in away games.

Joe Aribo (CM) - Should benefit from the rest he was afforded in the cup last weekend after some visible post-Africa Cup of Nations fatigue.

3. Forwards

Aaron Ramsey (RW) - Impressed in last weekend's win at Dundee in the Scottish Cup.

Alfredo Morelos (ST) - An indispensable figure for Rangers and four clear at the top of the goalscoring charts in the league this season.

Ryan Kent (LW) - Although his goal return is modest, his impact on games has improved under van Bronckhorst's guidance.
