Puma have launched the NJR Brazil collection inspired by Neymar, featuring the Future Z 1.1 NJR boot, ahead of this summer’s Copa America tournament.
The whole NJR Brazil collection draws from Neymar’s heritage and his love for Brazil, creating vibrant patterns and designs in yellow, green and blue.
The custom font used for the range is inspired by the pichação graffiti on the streets of Sao Paulo, the city where Neymar was born and raised and started his career with Santos.
The NJR Brazil apparel range includes a graphic jersey, shorts, T-shirt, training pants, hoodie and baseball cap. Accessories include a backpack, gym sack, mini ball, fan ball and graphic ball.
The Future Z 1.1 NJR boot has been specially created to enhance Neymar’s playing style. It is loaded with Puma technology to provide the optimal fit and support for explosive movements.
The knitted upper material is coated to help provide superior touch and ball control, while a cutting edge outsole has been developed for advanced traction.
The custom NJR graphic features in a repeated pattern on the sockliner and soleplate. The boots are also additionally personalised to Neymar, with ‘Dream Chaser’ printed on the right boot lace and ‘Tudo Passa’ – everything passes – printed on the left boot lace.
Both phrases hold great personal meaning to the 29-year-old.
The FUTURE Z 1.1 NJR is available from 1 June 1, with the NJR BRAZIL apparel and accessories available from 5 June at PUMA.com, PUMA stores and select retailers worldwide.
