PSG have suspended their women's team's manager Didier Olle-Nicolle due to accusations of inappropriate behaviour towards playing staff.

PSG currently sit second in Division 1 Feminine, five points behind leaders Lyon. The French domestic season is yet to be concluded, and PSG still have two league matches remaining - including Sunday's crucial clash against Lyon, which will likely determine the destination of this season's title.

A statement released by PSG reads: "Paris Saint-Germain have today been informed of inappropriate facts and remarks to which members of their women's team have allegedly been exposed.

"These facts and remarks, if confirmed, would be incompatible with the sporting and human values of Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain takes the situation very seriously and intends to shed full light on the facts and comments reported."

On Olle-Nicolle's suspension, the statement added: "This measure is of a conservatory and temporary nature. It in no way prejudges the results of the internal investigation that will be carried out, or the decisions that the club may have to take."

The Telegraph report that players were interviewed on Tuesday after a complaint about Olle-Nicolle was made public. The PSG manager's behaviour towards players and language used had reportedly been raised several months ago, but no action was taken.

Olle-Nicolle's managerial career has spanned over three decades, and he was appointed PSG manager in 2021. His side reached the Champions League semi-finals and won the Coupe de France during his debut season in charge.
