Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a record 11th Ligue 1 title, and can take a huge stride toward that achievement with victory at Angers on Friday.

The table-toppers travel to the division's basement club to kick off this weekend's football.

Christophe Galtier and the PSG soap opera are just about still chugging along, but nobody's future at the club is certain from here on in.

Here's how they could line up for Friday's return to the pitch.

PSG predicted lineup vs Angers

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - Must surely be looking on in envy after previous club AC Milan reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with his replacement - Mike Maignan - announcing himself as one of the world's leading goalkeepers.

CB: Danilo Pereira - Though naturally a midfielder, 31 of Danilo's 116 PSG games have come as a makeshift centre-back.

CB: Marquinhos - Missed a few matches in March with a dead leg but the club captain has since returned to fitness.

CB: Sergio Ramos - His injury-hit first season in Paris is behind him, but Ramos may not have too many more opportunities to represent PSG with his contract up this summer.

RM: Achraf Hakimi - Back in contention following last month's hamstring issue.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - After a subpar debut season with PSG, the Spaniard may well be fighting for his own future, let alone a place in the starting lineup.

CM: Marco Verratti - Sat out the last two games with a hamstring problem but could return here.

CM: Vitinha - Like Fabian has flattered to deceive, though at least the Portugal international is a few years younger.

LM: Nuno Mendes - PSG haven't made too many smart signings in recent times, but at least Mendes is showing his worth.

CF: Lionel Messi - Unlikely to extend his stay in Paris beyond this summer and a return to Barcelona is looking more and more plausible.

CF: Kylian Mbappe - Reports in France claim that PSG's grand plan to try and convince Mbappe to stay is to build a team around him, with Harry Kane eyed as a striker partner.
