Another week of Premier League action is in the books. And what a week it was.

A few managers lost their jobs, Manchester City put in their season-best performance and Bournemouth one a game of football. That's right, Bournemouth.

So after all that fun, let's pick a team of the week, shall we?

GK - Emi Martinez - The Best FIFA Goalkeeper 2022 put in another solid showing at the weekend, keeping a rather timid Chelsea side at bay.

RB - Kieran Trippier - Another week, another nod for the Premier League's most oustanding right-back. Didn't need to be brilliant against Manchester United but was never in any trouble.

CB - Michael Keane - Hands up who thought Michael Keane could score a goal like the one he scored on Monday? Put your hands down, no one did.

CB - Sven Botman - He turned down Milan in favour of Tyneside and, so far, it seems like that was the right move to make. Botman put in solid showing on Sunday.

LB - Dan Burn - The tallest full-back of all time (probably) out-muscled Antony on the flank with ease at St. James' Park.

RM - Marcus Tavernier - The wide player scored the best, and most important, goal of Bournemouth's season thus far against Fulham.

CM - Alexis Mac Allister - There are not many better midfielders than Mac Allister in the Premier League, and he proved that once again at the weekend.

CM - Bruno Guimaraes - Single-handedly won the midfield battle against Marcel Sabitzer and Scott McTominay on Sunday, which in hindsight, probably actually isn't that hard to do.

LM - Jack Grealish - In the best form of his Manchester City career thus far right now, and continued that form with a goal and an assist in the 4-1 thumping of Liverpool.

ST - Gabriel Jesus - Back to full fitness and back to his best this past weekend, scoring two to inspire Arsenal's big win over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

ST - Julian Alvarez - Deputised for the injured Erling Haaland and bagged a goal as Manchester City put in their season-best performance. Start him more often, Pep.
