The FA Cup semi-finals brought about some disruption to the Premier League calendar at the weekend, but a full cohort of fixtures greets us over three days of midweek mayhem.

Despite the absence of a few fixtures, Matchday 32 was quite the entertainer and it concluded in the most remarkable of fashions at St. James' Park as Newcastle blitzed beyond a broken Tottenham. Cristian Stellini's ill-fated switch to a back four saw the visitors fall 5-0 behind after 21 minutes.

But hey, at least the drew the second half. Small wins.

Nevertheless, Matchday 33 is all about the title race. The biggest game of the season is upon us as a treble-chasing Man City host faltering league leaders Arsenal at the Etihad. The Gunners' buffer at the summit is five points having played two games more than the back-to-back champions, and many believe victory is paramount for Mikel Arteta's side if they're to win their first league title in 20 years.

At the other end of the table, Leeds host Leicester in a huge relegation six-pointer on Tuesday night, while Southampton host Bournemouth on Thursday. Everton and Nottingham Forest are both at home in midweek, but their respective opponents, Newcastle and Brighton, render their duels tricky.

Premier League predictions: Week 33

This is a big week of Premier League football and 90min is backing just three home sides to taste victory.

There's four predicted away wins, including triumphs for Brighton, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Man Utd, while Man City are expected to brush aside their title rivals in the potential decider at the Etihad.

Man Utd's projected triumph over Tottenham on Thursday will further bolster their top-four hopes, while a win for Newcastle at Everton would further sink the Toffees into the mire.

Sean Dyche's side, however, could be aided by Brighton beating Forest at the City Ground, and Southampton picking up a rare victory at home to Bournemouth.

A draw at Elland Road wouldn't help either Leeds or Leicester, although the result would keep both sides out of the relegation zone for another matchday.

Neither west London outfit is predicted to claim local bragging rights as two out of sorts sides play out a stalemate, while Aston Villa's push for Europe is poised to be bolstered by a comfortable victory over Fulham on Tuesday night.
