90min is the home of the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award for the 2021/22 & 2022/23 seasons.

Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.

Your League Two nominees for April are...

1. Jamie Proctor (Port Vale)

Veteran frontman Jamie Proctor played a crucial part in Port Vale securing a play-off spot.

His goal helped claim crucial wins over Sutton, Barrow and Oldham. He also scored in the defeat to Bristol Rovers.

2. Elliott Anderson (Bristol Rovers)

The on-loan Newcastle midfielder enjoyed another brilliant month for Bristol Rovers, which ultimately led to promotion.

He claimed crucial assists in the big wins over Bradford and Rochdale, and also scored against Tranmere, Salford and Port Vale.

3. Kane Hemmings (Tranmere Rovers)

Veteran frontman Kane Hemmings enjoyed a very good month as Rovers looked to land a play-off spot.

He contributed in all but one of their games in the month, claiming goals against Carlisle, Bristol Rovers and Tranmere - as well as assisting against Bradford and Exeter.

4. Sam Hoskins (Northampton Town)

Sam Hoskins is Northampton's top scorer, but turned provider in April with four assists.

His goals led to wins over Harrogate and Hartlepool, but his assists were also crucial in the victories against Leyton Orient and Oldham.

5. Stephen McLaughlin (Mansfield Town)

Clean sheets: 4

Irish left-back Stephen McLaughlin has enjoyed a brilliant season and that continued in April.

He scored and grabbed an assist in the win over Scunthorpe, and also helped them to a clean sheet.

The defender assisted another goal at Crawley and also played his part in another three clean sheets.

6. Jack Payne (Swindon Town)

Assists: 4

Jack Payne was a key man for Swindon in April which went a long way to them claiming a play-off spot.

Payne contributed in five straight games, scoring in the huge win against Forest Green Rovers but also assisting in the wins against Harrogate, Hartlepool and Barrow.
