90min is the home of the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month Award for the 2021/22 & 2022/23 seasons.

Each month, you can vote for your favourite players across five divisions of English football, for the chance to win incredible prizes, including the opportunity to present the award to the winning player.

Your League Two nominees for October are...


1. Matty Jay (Exeter)

Exeter City enjoyed a brilliant October that saw an unbeaten run - consisting of three wins and three draws - take them to the brink of the top three.

Jay played a huge role in making that possible, scoring in five successive League Two games for the Grecians.


2. Dom Telford (Newport)

Assists: 1

One of the form men in English football, Dom Telford took centre stage for Newport's excellent run of form in October.

Starting off slowly with just a goal in three games, he burst into life in the club's final three outings - notching seven in his next three. Braces against Carlisle and Bristol Rovers got Telford going, before he bagged a hat-trick and assist in the 5-0 thrashing of Stevenage.

Clean sheets: 3

Former Hibernian right-back, Tom James, showed his class in October with some big displays for Orient.

James not only helped Kenny Jackett's men keep clean sheets but also claimed two goals - scoring against Port Vale and Hartlepool.


4. George Miller (Walsall)

Walsall enjoyed a real up-turn in form in October and George Miller was largely responsible for the swift turnaround.

On loan from Championship strugglers Barnsley, Miller showed what he's all about at League Two level - highlighted by braces against both Exeter and Barrow.


5. Tom Conlon (Port Vale)

Port Vale have established themselves as one of the favourites for promotion from League Two and Tom Conlon has been pivotal to their success.

Conlon grabbed three goals and two assists in October, putting in a man of the match display against Crawley where he grabbed one of each in a resounding 4-1 win.


6. Robert Milsom (Sutton)

Veteran midfielder Robert Milsom has been in great form for newly promoted Sutton, who are mounting a serious promotion push.

The former Fulham man was not only on the scoresheet twice, he also claimed three assists in October - showing he's got plenty of life left him in yet.
