Christophe Galtier has a number of selection issues to consider when his Paris Saint-Germain side host Rennes in Ligue 1 on Sunday,.

The French giants are in hot form in France's top flight but the disappointment of another premature exit from the Champions League - this time at the hands of Bayern Munich - is still lingering at Parc des Princes.

However, there is still a Ligue 1 title to be won. PSG are ten points ahead of nearest challengers Marseille and face a Rennes side eyeing up a Champions League spot but suffering with injuries themselves.

PSG predicted lineup vs Rennes (4-1-3-2)

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - Insisted he had no regrets leaving Milan for PSG when he did, having seen his old side reach the Champions League quarter-finals while his current team crashed out.

RB: Timethee Pembele - Is in line for a second consecutive Ligue 1 start due to Achraf Hakimi's absence. Got an assist against Nantes during a late cameo.

CB: Danilo Pereira - Will continue to deputise in central defence with Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe already sidelined.

CB: El Chadaille Bitshiabu - PSG are running out of defenders. Sergio Ramos' latest setback leaves 17-year-old Bitshiabu as the only natural defender in the squad.

LB: Nuno Mendes - Has three assists in Ligue 1 this season but without a direct goal contribution since mid November.

DM: Marco Verratti - Made a crucial mistake in the second Bayern leg, during which he was well below his best. Went missing when needed most.

CM: Warren Zaïre-Emery - Injury issues out wide and in midfield have given 17-year-old Zaïre-Emery opportunities this season. At just 17, he's already scored twice in Ligue 1 this term.

CM: Vitinha - Carlos Soler is dealing with a muscle injury which limits Galtier's options in midfield.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - Ruiz hasn't performed well in his first season in Paris. Must be ruing his decision to leave Napoli, who are well placed in the Champions League and widely expected to win Serie A.

ST: Lionel Messi - Couldn't break Bayern down across two legs but has three goals and three assists in his last four Ligue 1 games. His mystery absence from training does not appear to be down to injury.

ST: Kylian Mbappe - Grabbed a dramatic late winner against Brest last time out, taking him to 19 league goals for the season. Only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane have netted more.
