Paris Saint-Germain welcome Monaco to the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1 on Sunday night.

The imperious, reigning champions have scored more goals than Ajaccio, Nantes, Nice, Troyes, Angers and their upcoming opponents Monaco combined this season. PSG's 7-1 thrashing of Lille was so severe last weekend the referee blew the final whistle ten seconds early out of sheer sympathy.

Here's the lineup Christophe Galtier may field to continue their red hot form.

GK: Gianluigi Donnarumma - At just 16, Donnarumma became the second-youngest goalkeeper to feature in Italian football, 73 years to the day after the youngest custodian the peninsula has ever seen, Giuseppe Sacchi.

CB: Sergio Ramos - A yellow card against Lille ensured Ramos has been booked in each of the last 20 seasons of top-flight European football.

CB: Marquinhos - "Marqui" - as he is known in the dressing room - stepped into midfield as PSG's dominance against Lille swelled last weekend, reprising the role which he honed under Thomas Tuchel.

CB: Presnel Kimpembe - “Neymar again! Neymar here, Neymar there, Neymar everywhere!" was the exasperated response Kimpembe delivered back in 2018. Four years on, the Brazilian is still the centre of attention.

RWB: Achraf Hakimi - The buccaneering wingback is one of four PSG players with multiple Ligue 1 goals this season already - no other club has more than two.

CM: Marco Verratti - The feisty Italian racked up his 250th Ligue 1 appearance last weekend, joining a select half-dozen to have hit that figure for PSG (per Opta).

CM: Renato Sanches - The suspension to Vitinha may provide Sanches with his first start for PSG.

LWB: Nuno Mendes - In this star-studded side, Mendes plays a crucial role by scurrying back in line with PSG's three centre-backs during defensive transitions.

RW: Lionel Messi - From one legend to another, Messi entertained the crowd during the half-time interval of Diego Maradona's debut for Newell's Old Boys with a rendition of keepy-uppies back in 1993.

ST: Kylian Mbappe - In the same summer Monaco were promoted to Ligue 1 a 14-year-old Mbappe joined the principality club.

LW: Neymar - The Brazilian leads Ligue 1 for goals and assists but has also made as many tackles this season as his centre-back teammate Marquinhos (six) and only Verratti has applied more pressures off the ball than the newly diligent 30-year-old (per FBref).
