Norwich City and Leeds United square off in a real relegation battle in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Canaries sit rock bottom of the table and are still waiting for their first win of the season, having seen their run of two straight draws emphatically ended by the seven goals of Chelsea last weekend.

Things have only been marginally better for Leeds, who have just one win to their name and sit three points clear of the relegation zone. If results go against them this weekend, Marcelo Bielsa's men could tumble into the drop zone.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Norwich team news

Ben Gibson is suspended after seeing red against Chelsea, so he'll join the injured Christoph Zimmermann on the sidelines. Expect Andrew Omobamidele to step in at the back.

Przemyslaw Placheta could be in line for his first appearance of the season, while young Billy Gilmour may earn himself another start in midfield as part of a drastic shake-up by Daniel Farke.

Leeds team news

Bielsa has already confirmed that he expects Junior Firpo, Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips to return for this one, and Jamie Shackleton is also likely to be part of the squad after missing out on the Carabao Cup defeat to Arsenal in midweek.

That's all great, but Leeds remain without key figures Luke Ayling (knee), Robin Koch (hip) and Patrick Bamford (ankle).

Norwich vs Leeds predicted lineups

Norwich vs Leeds head-to-head record

These two sides have been exchanging wins for a good few years now, with neither really gaining the upper hand on the other.

Their last meeting came in the 2018/19 season, with Norwich running out 3-1 winners at Elland Road and earning revenge for their 3-0 humbling at the hands of Leeds earlier in the season.

In terms of top flight action, Leeds and Norwich faced off back in 1994/95, and yet again, they shared 2-1 results.

Norwich vs Leeds score prediction

It's a battle of two struggling sides who are desperate for victory, but only one can win and Leeds will believe they have enough about them to get the points.

Norwich have been incredibly poor so far this year and hit a new low last time out against Chelsea, and while that sort of result could prompt a bounce-back, the Canaries simply don't look good enough to manage that.

Add into the fold the return of some vital players for Leeds, and you'll see why we're picking a narrow win for Bielsa's men.

Prediction: Norwich 0-1 Leeds
