Paris Saint-Germain continue their march to the Ligue 1 title on Saturday night, as they travel south to Nice.

Mauricio Pochettino's men recently suffered a little bump in the road as they were shocked by a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Nantes, although bounced back well to register a 3-1 win over Saint Etienne last time out - their fifth league victory in six outings.

Holding a 15-point cushion at the summit of France's top flight, PSG face a tough test against third-placed Nice. Christoph Galtier's men have recovered from a recent two-match losing streak to win and draw in their previous two league outings, now looking strong for Champions League qualification, while also progressing to the Coupe de France final courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Versailles in midweek.

Here's 90min's preview of this one.

Nice team news

There is some good news for Nice as Dante and Justin Kluivert are both set for returns after missing out on their side's midweek semi-final victory due to suspension.

However, Robson Bambu and Jordan Amavi will both miss out through injury, while Youcef Atal's inclusion is also doubtful.

PSG team news

The bad news for Pochettino's side is that Kylian Mbappe will not feature in this one. The Frenchman has an accumulation of too many yellow cards after his booking against Saint-Etienne, but Marco Verratti is back from his own suspension.

Verratti has been hit with a further one-match ban for his outburst towards a referee but that suspension has been pushed back to next weekend's meeting with Bordeaux.

That is huge news for Pochettino, who looks set to be without both Leandro Paredes and Ander Herrera, as well as the perennially injured Sergio Ramos.

Nice vs PSG head-to-head record

Nice have held their own better than most against PSG over the years. Les Parisiens boast only 28 victories in the two clubs' 63 meetings, while Les Aiglons have won 18.

It was actually Nice that ended PSG's Coupe de France journey this campaign with a penalty shootout win in January. In Ligue 1 matters, however, the side from the capital haven't lost against Saturday's hosts since the 2016/17 season, winning six and drawing two since.

Nice vs PSG score prediction

The key for PSG is to make sure their little falter against Nantes doesn't turn into a prolonged rough spell. The league title is pretty much wrapped up, but the last thing Pochettino needs is bumpy domestic form detracting from their pursuit of continental glory - in that sense, this game is key for the Parisian outfit.

And, against a strong Nice team determined to affirm their Champions League credentials this term, securing victory is easier said than done.

With the quality they can deploy (even without Mbappe up front), however, you always expect the dominant PSG to run out winners.

Prediction: Nice 1-2 PSG
