Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has admitted that he 'wants to play with Cristiano Ronaldo' before the end of his career, with the Portuguese forward's Juventus future remaining in doubt.

The Brazil international has taken to the pitch alongside some of the game's all-time greats, and is currently spearheading Les Parisiens' attack with fellow forward and starlet Kylian Mbappe. But one footballer remains who he wishes to partner before his time on the big stage comes to a close.

Speaking to GQ France, Neymar confessed that he wishes to 'play with Ronaldo', in a statement which has only fuelled rumours of the 36-year-old's potential departure from Juventus at the end of the season.

"I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo," he said. "I've already played with great players like Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven't played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet."

Ronaldo is approaching the final 12 months of his contract in Turin, but there are suggestions that he may be heading for the exit door a year prematurely. The forward was signed for €100m in order to bring Champions League glory to Juventus, but he has yet to carry them beyond the quarter-finals of the competition.

And his hopes of supplying European glory next year may be over before the campaign has even begun, with I Bianconeri lying in fifth place in Serie A, and on the brink of missing out on Champions League qualification altogether.

It's no secret that Ronaldo wants to win the elite European trophy again before he hangs up his boots, and should Juve fail to finish in the top four, he may leave in order to do so. PSG would be a tempting destination for the ex-Real Madrid star.

And his arrival would suit the ambitious Neymar, who went on to explain that he wants to 'win everything with PSG', showing his commitment to the French giants.

"I want to win the World Cup. This has always been my biggest dream, but I also want to win everything with PSG.

"I'm almost 30 now and I've had a good career on a personal level."
