It's another weekend of Premier League football, and another chance for West Ham to continue their fairytale season with a win at struggling Newcastle.

The Hammers were relegation fodder last season, but David Moyes has overseen an astonishing turnaround that has taken the club to the cusp of Champions League qualification.

There's still a lot of work to do for the Hammers to even wrap Europa League qualification let alone Champions League, but they'll be encouraged ahead of their trip to St James' Park with their record against sides outside of the traditional 'big six'.

Miraculously, and ironically, West Ham have lost just once - on the opening day of the season against, you guessed it, Newcastle. Goals from Callum Wilson and Jeff Hendrick were enough to walk away from the London Stadium with all three points, but things are very, very different now for both clubs.

Here, ahead of the game, 90min looks to get inside of the mind of maestro Moyes - picking the starting XI that should face the Magpies.

West Ham predicted lineup vs Newcastle

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Jesse Lingard, Craig Dawson

Lukasz Fabianski (GK) - Signed a new West Ham deal relatively recently and you can see why with every performance.

Craig Dawson (CB) -
Now a permanent signing, Dawson must be wary of the threat posed by Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson.

Issa Diop (CB) -
Has improved his decision making ten-fold but there's no time for the Frenchman to rest on his laurels. 100% focus eeded.

Fabian Balbuena (CB) -
Will be lacking a little sharpness after losing his place in recent months, and obviously doesn't possess the same thrust as Aaron Cresswell. Offensive downgrade, but defensive upgrade.

2. Wing-Backs & Midfielders

Mark Noble

Vladimir Coufal (RWB) - West Ham's very own duracell bunny could have a tricky afternoon ahead if Saint-Maximin - as expected - starts for Newcastle on the left.

Tomas Soucek (CM) -
Part two of West Ham's dynamic Czech duo, Soucek must assume the role of engine room chief in the absence of the injured Declan Rice.

Mark Noble (CM) -
Can't run around with the same verve and vigour these days, but offers tremendous leadership and reads the game superbly on the whole.

Arthur Masuaku (LWB) -
Divides the Hammers' fanbase with his risk taking on the ball, but can be exceptional. The latter would be helpful against a side low on confidence.

3. Forwards

Jarrod Bowen (RF) - Has burst out of the form doldrums with a couple of electric performances. Will interchange positions and float around looking to create space and get in behind.

Jesse Lingard (CF) -
The most in-form player in the Premier League right now, Lingard is the talk of the town in east London. Eight goals in nine appearances is Euro 2020 selection form, no doubt it.

Pablo Fornals (LF) -
Took his goal against Leicester superbly last time out, and finally is being recognised for the class act that he is.
