Luciano Spalletti's Serie A leaders Napoli travel north to face his former side Inter at San Siro on Sunday evening.

With a club-record-equalling return of 32 points from the first 36 available, Spalletti has taken to life in Naples pretty well. Incidentally, the last time Spalletti lost a Serie A match was against his current employers while at the helm of Inter. In fact, the 62-year-old's last defeat at San Siro was against a Lazio side managed by his opposite number come Sunday, Simone Inzaghi.

Here's the Napoli XI Spalletti may select to get one over on the reigning champions.

Napoli predicted lineup vs Inter - Serie A

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

David Ospina (GK) - Napoli's veteran number one (who wears 25) has the best save rate of any Serie A keeper this season, preventing 21 of the 24 shots his parsimonious defence have allowed on target.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo (RB) - Napoli's only ever-present is unlikely to miss his first minutes across all competitions this season.

Amir Rrahmani (CB) - After a turbulent debut season skirting around the squad's fringes, the former Hellas Verona star has emerged as part of Spalletti's first-choice defensive pairing.

Kalidou Koulibaly (CB) - "If we all had a bit of Koulibaly, life would be easier." Truer words have scarcely been uttered by the defender's enamoured manager.

Mario Rui (LB) - Hampered by a cruciate ligament rupture, Rui was afforded a handful of minutes when he crossed paths with Spalletti at Roma but has started every league game upon their reunion.

2. Midfielders

Piotr Zielinski (CM) - Since the start of the 2019/20 season, Cagliari's Joao Pedro is the only Serie A outfielder to have racked up more appearances than Napoli's Polish international (84) - despite playing under three different coaches in that time frame.

Fabian Ruiz (CM) - With a trio of goals - all outside the box - to his name already this season, Ruiz is set to face his favourite opponent, having scored more times against Inter (three) than any other team in his senior career.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (CM) - The former Fulham midfielder has been widely and rightly lauded for a swift assimilation to life in Italy's top flight - much to the disapproval of his manager, who wants to 'leave him hidden'.

3. Forwards

Matteo Politano (RW) - The former Inter player has scored three goals against the Nerazzurri but only netted six during his two years at the club.

Victor Osimhen (ST) - With nine goals from just 11 starts across all competitions this season, Osimhen is one strike shy of matching the double-figure tally he accrued in the entirety of an injury-riddled debut campaign last term.

Lorenzo Insigne (LW) - Despite an unsigned contract extension looming ever larger as his current deal ticks down, Napoli's captain remains an integral figure to his boyhood club.
