Paris Saint-Germain travel south east to Monaco on Sunday, looking to recapture some consistency after a rocky recent spell.

Mauricio Pochettino's team have been up and down of late, winning three and losing three of their previous six fixtures in all competitions. A 3-0 beating of Bordeaux to follow their Champions League heartbreak in Madrid, however, provides them with a platform upon which to kick on.

They face a Monaco side that is also enduring a disappointing spell, having won just once in their last five Ligue 1 outings and having just been knocked out of the Europa League by Braga.

Here's 90min's preview of this clash.

Monaco team news

The hosts will be boosted by midfielder Jean Lucas' return to domestic action, having sat out the 1-0 defeat to Strasbourg through suspension. Lucas played 52 minutes in Monaco's midweek Europa League encounter with Braga and should start here.

Elsewhere, however, Cesc Fabregas and Krepin Diatta will remain sidelined.

PSG team news

Marco Verratti will also return from suspension, having missed out on his side's 3-0 win over Bordeaux last time out.

Ander Herrera is also back in contention after resuming full training following an eye infection, while Sergio Ramos should return to the squad as well.

Angel Di Maria, Juan Bernat and Layvin Kurzawa, however, remain injured on the sidelines.

Monaco vs PSG prediction

PSG are certainly in the middle of their toughest patch of the season and, while they don't really have anything to play for, will be desperate to regain the typically bulldozing consistency in results that has seen them from an unassailable lead at the Ligue 1 summit.

Against a shaky Monaco side and with the quality they possess, that shouldn't be a problem.

Prediction: Monaco 1-3 PSG
