The New England Revolution enter as the record-setting Supporters' Shield winners and are highly fancied, but will be tested in the East by NYCFC.

In the West, the Colorado Rapids were the shock table-toppers despite having the lowest salary spend in the entire league. Can they hold off the Portland Timbers in the Western Conference semi-final?
