Milan will extend their unbeaten run to eight games should they avoid defeat to mid-table Bologna at San Siro on Saturday night.

Stefano Pioli's side have been undefeated in the league since Serie A's resumption in mid-June, beating the likes of Roma, Lazio and Juventus in the process. They faced Parma last time out and their performance in the first-half gave cause for concern - especially when they went a goal down shortly before half-time.

I Rossoneri came back in spectacular fashion in the second-half, however, scoring three within the space of 22 minutes to secure an emphatic win.

Bologna have satisfied expectations in the league so far, currently occupying tenth place. They put a solid performance in their 1-1 draw against in-form Napoli on Wednesday, and also took a big scalp in the form of Inter earlier this month.

Milan have been in excellent form since Serie A's resumption, winning five and drawing two out of the seven games that have been played. Only Atalanta have gained more points than I Rossoneri in the league over the last month.

Bologna's form, on the other hand, has been mixed. They've lost two, drawn three and won two - with both of these victories being away from home. Sinisa Mihajlovic's side stood an outside chance of qualifying for the Europa League prior to lockdown, but are now ten points away from Milan in seventh place.

Napoli 2-2 Milan (12/7)

Prediction

Milan will be confident of securing the full three points against Bologna

Given their performances as of late, Milan will be going into this game with a ton of confidence, but will also be wary of complacency considering Bologna's recent victory over Inter at San Siro.

Nevertheless, I Rossoneri haven't looked like being beaten lately, and another victory should be well within their grasp.

Prediction: Milan 3-1 Bologna
