The Mexican women’s national team will embark on their first ever international tour in April. 

In its inaugural year, the MexTour W 2023 will consist of two matches to be played in Chicago and Houston. El Tri Femenil is set to take on the Chicago Red Stars club on Saturday, April 8 at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, before traveling to Texas for one additional game on Tuesday, April 11 at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston. The rival of the second match will be announced soon.

"MexTour W will contribute to the growth of the Mexico Women's National Team program by creating more opportunities to face big international rivals on their way to future competitions, while giving fans the opportunity to cheer on their National Team in the United States. "said Andrea Rodebaugh, director of Women's National Teams.

“MexTour W will serve as a platform for this group of talented athletes and inspire and lead the way for future generations of women in sport. These tour games will show the international competitive level of women's soccer in this new cycle for the Mexico Women's National Team, while creating an environment for girls and young people to play, be inspired and empowered by the sport.”

Additionally, the tour will include a soccer clinic in Houston on April 2 to “further its engagement with the local community.
