Pep Guardiola's Manchester City take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday looking to make it 18 wins in a row in all competitions.

The Citizens' electric form has taken them ten points clear at the top of the Premier League, and the midweek 3-1 win over Everton was all the more impressive given the absence of Ilkay Gundogan - the most in-form player in the country.

In the Premier League alone, City have won 12 games in a row - trouncing rivals Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield, as well as dismantling Jose Mourinho's Tottenham 3-0 at the Etihad. This time around, it's a more familiar foe in Arteta and Arsenal - the Gunners boss having worked under Guardiola as his assistant for a number of years.

Here, 90min suggests the lineup City should pick to continue their hot streak.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Ederson (GK) - A whopping 14 Premier League clean sheets so far, the Brazilian is a no-brainer to start between the sticks.

Joao Cancelo (RB) - Has come to life in a City shirt this campaign, and is capable of playing anywhere. Provides a great threat when advancing into a midfield position and could destabilise Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos when he drops in.

John Stones (CB) - Another to have reignited his City career, Stones has been brilliant alongside Ruben Dias - keeping 11 clean sheets in 14 appearances to date.

Ruben Dias (CB) - The summer signing has been a revelation and is the crucial cog in City's marvellous defence.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (LB) - The Ukrainian international has been a surprisingly bright spark in the Sky Blues' defence, and is willingness to overload wide will cause problems.

2. Midfielders

Kevin De Bruyne (CM) - Came on for the last ten minutes against Everton in midweek and looked sharp. The Belgian could be fit enough to return for a good hour or so - oh, how we've missed that right foot.

Rodri (DM) - The Spaniard has been vital in the way City have dominated teams and has appeared in all but one Premier League game this season.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) - The German suffered a slight groin strain in the 3-0 win over Tottenham recently, but will return here should he pass a fitness test.

3. Forwards

Riyad Mahrez (RW) - The Algerian always poses a threat form the right flank and proved it on Wednesday night, scoring a beautiful curling effort past Jordan Pickford.

Raheem Sterling (ST) - Could start through the middle for City, in what will likely be a free role. Has 13 goal contributions so far this season, a figure he'll want to increase.

Phil Foden (LW) - With the reintroduction of De Bruyne, Foden may well be pushed out wide. The 20-year-old has been superb of late, showing the talent we've known all about for a long time.
