Manchester United will play their final home game of the 2021/22 WSL season this weekend when an inconsistent West Ham side are the visitors.

This weekend's hosts saw their top three hopes taken out of their own hands last weekend when they failed to break down a resolute Aston Villa and now must rely on a favour from elsewhere to stop Manchester City surging past in the final week of the campaign.

The Hammers have already delivered a significant moment in that top three race, having scored a 92nd minute equaliser to take points off United in the rearranged reverse fixture in March.

This is everything you need to know about this weekend's clash...

Only long-term absentees Aoife Mannion and Millie Turner are missing.

West Ham team news

Gilly Flaherty and Lucy Parker both remain doubts for this one as a result of injuries suffered ahead of beating Reading last time out.

Maisy Barker and Anna Leat are expected to miss the rest of the season.

Man Utd vs West Ham score prediction

Manchester United have only been beaten three times in the WSL this season, but failing to convert draws into wins has been their undoing. The draw against West Ham in March is one of a number of games that they could look back and wonder 'What if?'

United have only scored one goal across their last two games, although a lack of chances created isn't the reason why. The boost of Bruun's return from injury could push others to higher levels, just as it did in the aftermath of her January arrival.

West Ham have previously been a bit of a bogey side for United. Yet they come into this one in decidedly mixed form, having lost five of their last nine WSL games - for context, Olli Harder's side were only beaten twice in their first 11 league games of the season.

Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 West Ham
