Manchester United and Manchester City meet for the fourth time this season on Sunday, going head to head in the fifth round of the Women's FA Cup.

Man Utd team news

United are in good shape for the most part despite a number of players being away on international duty over the last 10 days, but Hayley Ladd is a doubt because a knock suffered while in action for Wales and will be assessed ahead of the game.

January signing Jade Moore is progressing well on her road to fitness but is continuing to train separately for the time being and will have to wait a little longer for her debut.

Aoife Mannion is still being monitored after a knee injury has ruled her out of all of February's games so far and remains a doubt. Lucy Staniforth continues to recover from recent surgery.

Marc Skinner has confirmed that Millie Turner is 'over the worst' of the problem with an artery in her neck and is due another scan to assess it again soon. Her absence remains indefinite though.

Man City team news

Gareth Taylor confirmed that City have no new injury concerns ahead of the derby, with all of his squad returning from international duty unscathed.

Steph Houghton will not feature against United after undergoing surgery on her Achilles, with Taylor admitting it is ‘unlikely’ the City captain will return for her club side before the end of the season.

Chloe Kelly remains a long-term absentee as she continues her comeback from an ACL injury, with Taylor stating that the winger is looking sharp as her recovery steps up, but adding that the club are reluctant to rush her back too soon due to the serious nature of the injury.

Man Utd vs Man City score prediction

Each Manchester derby that has been contested this season has been a closely fought battle that has either ended in a draw or was decided by a single goal - it took a Caroline Weir stunner for City to edge it when they met in the WSL earlier this month.

Logic dictates it should be another hard fought match between two teams that have proven themselves to be fairly evenly matched. It could even go the distance to extra-time and penalties, and be anyone's game from the spot.

Prediction: Man Utd 2-2 Man City (Man Utd to win on penalties)
