Manchester United and Leicester return to WSL action this weekend as the league programme finally resumes after an international break and pause for FA Cup fixtures.

Neither team was successful in the FA Cup, with United beaten at home by local rivals Manchester City following a second half collapse, while the Foxes were hammered 7-0 by Chelsea.

Prior to the international break, the Red Devils were narrowly beaten by Manchester City in the league, which ended a run of five WSL games without defeat - four wins and a draw.

Leicester, meanwhile, have found their groove since losing their first nine WSL games. The Foxes, who actually beat United on penalties in a Continental Cup tie in early December, have suddenly won four of their last six league games to climb well clear of the relegation zone.

The reverse of this fixture back in September ended up in a 3-1 United victory.

Man Utd vs Leicester score prediction

The heavy nature of last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Chelsea was out of character for Leicester this season - even when they were losing regularly earlier in the campaign it was rarely by a large margin. How their confidence pulls through could be key to their performance on Saturday.

United also had the disappointment of a big FA Cup defeat, although were the better side in the first half against City. Manager Marc Skinner has been keen to stress in the week since that game that it should used as a tool to motivate and build on, rather than dwelling on the negatives.

Overall, United should have the quality to win this one if they perform to their capabilities.

Prediction: Man Utd 3-1 Leicester
