Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans is attracting interest from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, while the Foxes are desperate to tie him down to a long-term contract at the King Power stadium.
The 24-year-old has become a key figure at the heart of Brendan Rodgers' side, scoring the winning goal in their FA Cup final success over Chelsea last season, and claiming the club's Player of the Season award.
Those performances piqued interest from former Premier League champions Liverpool in the summer, but a transfer never materialised. Fabrizio Romano now reports that another trio of European giants are hoping to land Tielemans next year, with Man Utd, Madrid and Barça all strong admirers of the Belgian international.
90min has previously revealed that Leicester have been confident since June of persuading to Tielemans to commit his future to the club with a long-term contract. Talks began earlier this year but were shelved until after Euro 2020 after failing to reach an agreement before the tournament.
The Foxes could yet face a major battle to retain the player's services next summer, with some of Europe's biggest clubs prepared to have another crack at luring him away.
Manchester United are in need of a midfielder and were linked with Yves Bissouma, Ruben Neves and Eduardo Camavinga during the summer. Declan Rice has also been a long-term target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, but Tielemans has also been linked with the club in the past as well.
Real Madrid are another club looking to the future, as Carlo Ancelotti leads the club through a transition from their experienced legends to a bold new era of young, quality players. Tielemans would fit the bill nicely, and a move to the Spanish capital is often hard to resist.
Barcelona are also big fans of Tielemans and would love to see him arrive at Camp Nou, although their own financial complications could put an end to their hopes in the summer.
