Manchester United have invited all potential buyers of the club to Old Trafford for a presentation on what the team has to offer.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, head of INEOS, and Qatar's Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani are widely seen as the two main contenders to buy United, although there are also thought to be a number of anonymous bidders who have not yet made their approaches public.

As it stands, 90min understands that none of the offers for United have met the Glazer family's £6bn valuation of the club, and the current owners could even decline to sell the Red Devils if their asking price is not met.

The Elliott Group, former owners of AC Milan, have voiced a willingness to provide funding for any prospective new owner or even for the Glazers if the American family choose to remain in charge.

Before any decisions will be made, however, all prospective bidders will be given the chance to attend Old Trafford over the next few weeks, with the BBC noting offers have been extended to everyone involved in the process.

Part of the presentation will revolve around the financial possibilities for United, including where further income can be found.

Representatives of Ratcliffe are due to arrive in Manchester next week - it is not yet known if Ratcliffe himself will be in attendance - while Sheikh Jassim's group will also attend a presentation after the weekend.

It is expected that Raine, who are managing the sale, will ask bidders for revised offers after the presentations in an attempt to push prospective buyers up towards the Glazers' price tag.
