Manchester United legend Roy Keane fired some heavy criticism at current captain Harry Maguire prior to the clash with Tottenham on Saturday, labelling him a 'disgrace to the club' in the Liverpool defeat, and producing a hilarious mocking impression of the centre-back.

The 28-year-old came back from injury ahead of the Red Devils' trip to Leicester City, which they lost 4-2, and was at the heart of the defence for the 5-0 battering at Old Trafford at the hands of rivals Liverpool.

Man Utd are under major scrutiny off the back of those hammerings, and club legend Keane did not hold back in his assessment of the current crop of players ahead of kick off in their trip to Spurs on Saturday afternoon.

"They need a reaction, they need to show some character!" Keane began.

"United have so many talented players, particularly going forward, but a lot of the players defensively... there are huge questions marks over the two lads in midfield. But individual performances, Maguire and Shaw last week, they were an absolute disgrace to the club.

"These are established international footballers. I don't even think Crystal Palace would take Aaron Wan-Bissaka back now! He's not good enough for Man Utd."

Turning his attention away from Wan-Bissaka, Keane next took aim at captain Maguire, describing him as having the personality of a 'robot' in his latest interview, and then mocking him and his voice in hilarious fashion.

"But what Man Utd have always had over the years are players with character, personalities, and I don't see it with this group," he continued.

"I heard Maguire talking during the week, he was like a robot!

"'Uh oh uh, apologies to the fans,'" Keane mumbled and bumbled in his best Maguire impression, cracking up his fellow pundits in the studio. "There's no emotion behind it!

"Shaw's fallen back into his old habits from a few years ago, and I'm fed up with this chat after games of people apologising. Harry Maguire was talking about, 'we need to come together as a group'. No! You need to sort your game out!

"If you're going to be the leader of that group, you need to get the basics right and do your own job. People keep saying, 'Oh, he might not be fit'. Might not be fit? He gave a goal away against Leicester a few weeks ago that had nothing to do with fitness. It was just a lack of professionalism and not doing his job properly."

The fear of Keane's wrath should be enough to sort out this Man Utd rabble right now!
