Man Utd's best and worst players in routine Bournemouth win

Manchester United continued their push for a top-four finish with a routine 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
It was by no means a classic, but from United's perspective, it didn't need to be. The Red Devils had a job to do and made sure they got it done.
Casemiro's sensational, instinctive overhead kick just eight minutes in decided this one, with the Brazilian midfielder producing the only real moment of quality in a game which passed by without any other real incident.

Man Utd's best player vs Bournemouth
Casemiro: 7/10
When United needed him, Casemiro rose to the occasion.
The midfielder's goal was truly brilliant and kicked off what was a solid individual showing, with Casemiro comfortably dominating his area of the pitch and proving nearly impossible to beat aerially.
It wasn't a particularly high bar to be named United's best performer, but it's an honour Casemiro deserved nonetheless.
Honourable mention
Victor Lindelof: 7/10
On a day in which David de Gea was confirmed as the 2022/23 Golden Glove winner, Victor Lindelof served a reminder of just how important United's defence as a whole has been this season.
Lindelof hasn't always had the minutes he wanted but, alongside Raphael Varane, he was particularly impressive as he consistently found himself in the right place to sniff out Bournemouth's attempted threat.

Antony: 4/10
The Brazilian flair is fun to watch but Antony's lack of end (or even middle) product is starting to become a real problem.
Antony never looked like causing any problems whatsoever here and spurned the only real opportunity he had because of his fear of doing literally anything with his right foot. Not good enough.
Dishonourable mention
Bruno Fernandes: 5/10
It wasn't a clinic from Fernandes whatsoever. United's playmaker-in-chief was sloppy on the ball and underwhelming with his movement, looking more like a passenger at times as his teammates looked for ways to play around him.
The Portugal international did sting the gloves of Neto with an excellent volley from the edge of the penalty area, but that level of impact is not going to cut it in games like this.
