Manchester United have offered both Antony and Jadon Sancho to clubs in Saudi Arabia as they seek to cut their losses on the underperforming duo, a new report has claimed.

United signed Sancho for £73m in 2021 but failed to see the Englishman's best form before a spat with manager Erik ten Hag saw him return to former employers Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan which does not include the option for a permanent transfer.

Antony, meanwhile, has failed to score or assist a goal this season and the £86m signing has failed to hold down a permanent spot in the team this year.

The Evening Standard report that United are ready to part ways with both players and have offered Antony and Sancho to clubs in Saudi Arabia in the hope of finding the highest price possible. United are said to value Sancho and Antony at £50m each, and recovering £100m for the duo would see the Red Devils accept a combined loss of £59m.

90min reported earlier this month that Sancho was targeted by Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq during the 2023 summer transfer window, but talks ultimately broke down as United, while open to a loan deal, refused to budge from their demand of a £50m obligation to buy.

Expensive January signings are expected to be limited across Saudi Arabia but there could be a renewed push for overseas talent in the summer. Antony and Sancho will undoubtedly be among the two highest-profile names available for transfer.

Director of football John Murtough recently met a number of Saudi officials at last month's Club World Cup with a view to building connections and laying the groundwork for future transfers, with the likes of Casemiro and Raphael Varane also potential targets for Middle Eastern clubs.

90min understands that while the latter could leave Old Trafford this summer when his contract is up, an extension on reduced terms is also a possibility. The 30-year-old has indicated that he hopes to end his career at one of the three teams he has represented so far in his illustrious career - United, Real Madrid and Lens - but Saudi officials remain optimistic of convincing him to leave Europe.
