Man City will be keen to consolidate their place at the top of the table as they entertain a Tottenham side reeling from three straight league defeats.

Pep Guardiola's men already have one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after running riot in Portugal in a 5-0 victory over Sporting in the last 16 first-leg in midweek.

Meanwhile, Spurs slipped to eighth place in the Premier League after last weekend's 2-0 home defeat to Wolves made it three straight league defeats for the first time since the end of the Nuno Espirito Santo era, and the first time for Antonio Conte since 2009.

Here's everything you need to know about the clash.

Man City team news

Jack Grealish missed the midweek Champions League victory over Sporting, although Pep Guardiola is hopeful that the former Aston Villa man will be available in the near future.

Gabriel Jesus and Cole Palmer were also missing, with the latter set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a problem in City's FA Cup win over Swindon last month.

Tottenham team news

This weekend is likely to come too soon for Oliver Skipp as the midfielder continues his recovery from a groin problem.

Antonio Conte also refused to put a date on Eric Dier's return after the defeat to Wolves, with the defender having featured only twice for Spurs since the turn of the year. Japhet Tanganga will also not feature after sustaining a knee injury.

Man City vs Tottenham head-to-head record

Home advantage has tended to dictate this fixture over the years, with City unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Tottenham in Manchester.

Equally, they have lost in their previous three trips to Tottenham, which included the dismal 1-0 defeat on the opening weekend of the season.

Spurs fans will have fond memories of the Champions League quarter-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium in 2018/19, with VAR denying Raheem Sterling a late suckerpunch and sealing Spurs' place in the last four of the competition.

Man City vs Tottenham score prediction

Victory for Man City would make it four defeats on the spin in the Premier League for Spurs, leaving Conte's side in an uphill battle in the race for the top four.

The Etihad Stadium has not proven a particularly happy hunting ground for Spurs over the years, and their recent 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge highlighted the gulf in quality between themselves and the top three in the Premier League.

Even a point for Spurs would represent an impressive result in the context of their season, but City's quality should prevail.

Prediction: Man City 2-0 Tottenham
