Manchester City will seek to keep their treble push alive when they host Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.

A controversial equaliser from Kevin De Bruyne secured a 1-1 draw for Pep Guardiola's side in the first leg, and with away goals no longer a factor, it's truly a winner-takes-all affair against the greatest team in the history of this competition.

Here's how Guardiola could set up.

Man City predicted lineup vs Real Madrid (3-2-4-1)

GK: Ederson - With five clean sheets to his name this season, Ederson must secure two more shutouts if he wants to share the Golden Glove.

CB: Kyle Walker - Sensational against the threat of Dwight McNeil in the win over Everton, which is pretty much the same sort of test as Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior. Sort of.

CB: Ruben Dias - Excellent in a three-man defence, Dias will have to work hard to keep an eye on Karim Benzema.

CB: Manuel Akanji - Guardiola is happy to rely on Akanji, who should start as Nathan Ake is not yet fully fit.

DM: John Stones - Stones was rested at the weekend with a view to starting here.

DM: Rodri - City fans were terrified to see Rodri play 88 minutes of the Everton game, such is his importance to the team. His legs may not be as fresh as they could have been, but that shouldn't be a problem.

RM: Riyad Mahrez - A dangerous dribbler who will try and get things going down the right, Mahrez deserves a start.

CM: Kevin De Bruyne - De Bruyne was kept on the bench at the weekend because Guardiola knows the importance of keeping the Belgian safe and healthy.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan - Is there a better midfielder in world right now than Gundogan?

LM: Jack Grealish - Given an extended rest at Goodison Park, Grealish should be up for this one.

ST: Erling Haaland - Real Madrid are keen to sign Haaland somewhere down the line but the Norwegian would be more than happy to dump his suitors out of Europe here.
