The final few weeks of the season will prove decisive for Manchester City as they aim to retain the two domestic trophies they won as part of last season's historic treble.

Pep Guardiola had to cope without Kevin De Bruyne for a large period during the opening half of the season, but the midfield magician is back in sparkling form and has been able to rekindle his unique partnership with Erling Haaland to great effect.

With no more Champions League fixtures to contend with after their elimination at the hands of Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, Man City will hope to surge to the top of the Premier League while avoiding too many injuries before the FA Cup final against local rivals Manchester United.

Here's the current injury situation at Man City.

Haaland was a mere bystander as Man City exited the Champions League to Real Madrid, with Antonio Rudiger relishing the duel against the Nordic goal machine.

The striker was withdrawn before extra-time and Guardiola confirmed ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final victory over Chelsea that Haaland had picked up a muscle injury during the second leg.

The City boss also noted that he was unsure whether Haaland would be fit to feature against Brighton on Thursday night. Haaland did end up missing that midweek victory, but Guardiola was more optimistic when asked about the Norwegian's chances of facing Nottingham Forest.

"I prefer to have Erling at my disposal than to have [the squad without him]," Guardiola told reporters. "I spoke with him, and he says he feels better, I don't know."

Things are remarkably clear elsewhere in the Man City squad, with no other first-teamer currently battling a serious injury. While stars like De Bruyne and John Stones missed significant minutes earlier in the 2023/24, they are both fit for the final few weeks of the campaign.
