Having made light work of Leicester at the weekend, Manchester City turn their attention to the Champions League and the first leg of their quarter-final versus Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

The Premier League leaders faced Bundesliga opponents in the last round - cruising past Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 over the two legs. This time, they'll be facing Erling Haaland, one of the hottest strikers in world football and a player they've been heavily linked with.

While Pep Guardiola's side are hoping to secure what would be an incredible quadruple, make no mistake about it - this is the trophy that would crown all of their achievements to date under the Catalan's leadership.

Dortmund have struggled in the German top flight this season and find themselves in fifth place. However, they have plenty of exciting talent at their disposal and are capable of causing anybody problems.

Here is 90min's preview of the fixture.

The Premier League champions-elect have a fully fit squad to select from. However, there are a couple of players who are one yellow card away from a suspension that would rule them out of the second leg - namely Joao Cancelo and Fernandinho.

City are expected to make changes from the side that won at the weekend. Raheem Sterling, Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden and John Stones were all left on the bench and could come into the starting XI.

Manchester City - Borussia Dortmund prediction

Given the contrasting form of the two sides heading into this one, a City victory feels like the most likely outcome. Many of their stars were rested at the weekend and they should be close to their imperious best.

Despite possessing a striker who has scored 33 goals in 32 games this season in Haaland, Dortmund have struggled for consistency throughout this campaign. While they're a dangerous opponent, they may struggle to cope with City's dominating nature.

Only the brave would back the hosts to keep a clean sheet against the Norwegian's side but the Premier League giants are still strong favourites.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Borussia Dortmund
