Malmo team news

Malmo have quite a few injury concerns to contend with ahead of the game. Long-term absentees Ola Toivonen and Jonas Knudsen will definitely not feature, while veteran centre-back Niklas Moisander and Oscar Lewicki could struggle to make it back in time.

First-choice goalkeeper Johan Dahlin is also missing and there are doubts over the fitness of Sergio Pena. The attacking midfielder signed from FC Emmen in the summer but has only made one appearance due to injury.

Max Allegri will have to make do without star man Federico Chiesa, who is still recovering from the injury that ruled him out of his side's defeat to Napoli this weekend.

However, the club's sizable South American contingent should be back after their international excursions. This includes Juan Cuadrado, Paulo Dybala, Danilo, Alex Sandro and Rodrigo Bentancur.

The pair have only met twice previously, both of which came in the group stages of the 2014/15 Champions League group stages.

Each game finished 2-0 to Juventus with Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente scoring in Sweden, while Tevez bagged a brace in Turin.

Malmo vs Juventus score prediction

Juventus might have started the Serie A season terribly but they are still heavy favourites for this one.

Malmo showed they are no mugs by knocking out an impressive Rangers side in qualifying, however their long list of injuries mean they require a minor miracle to prevent an away win.

The previous two meetings between the pair ended 2-0 to Juventus and there is little to suggest that things will be different this time around.
