Luke Shaw has made it clear to Manchester United that he is keen to enter into talks over a new contract.
Shaw's current deal has just under 18 months left to run, although United hold an option to extend that automatically by 12 months.
Even though there is no immediate fear of losing him, United will look to make a decision on Shaw's future soon. The Guardian state that the left-back is looking to ink fresh terms as he is enjoying life at Old Trafford.
The England international has been a near-permanent starter this season, with only a handful of injuries disrupting his presence in the team.
He has two assists in his last four league games and believes better things are to come at United, and although he is yet to definitively decide what the future holds for him, Shaw is open to talks over his future with the Red Devils.
The news comes just days after 90min confirmed reports that Marcus Rashford is considering his future at the club.
Unlike Shaw, Rashford has found starts very hard to come by this season. He was benched for the 4-1 derby defeat to Manchester City, despite Ralf Rangnick missing his only two senior strikers, Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
