Luis Suarez has completed his recovery from a knee injury and will be available when the La Liga season restarts later this month.
Suarez has not played for Barcelona since Atletico Madrid knocked them out of the Supercopa de España back in January - a result which cost Ernesto Valverde his job.
The Uruguayan underwent surgery on his right knee just after that game and he recently revealed that his rehabilitation was going well. Now, Barcelona have confirmed that the striker has fully recovered and will be raring to go when they return to action in a couple of weeks time.
Suarez has netted an incredible amount of goals since arriving at the Camp Nou back in 2014. The 32-year-old is currently Barcelona's fourth top goalscorer of all time with 191 across all competitions, sitting just behind László Kubala (194) in third, César Rodríguez (232) in second and runaway leader Lionel Messi (618).
His absence has been felt this season, with the club going as far as bringing in Martin Braithwaite as an emergency replacement outside of the transfer window in February.
Although Suarez will be available for Barcelona's first game back against Mallorca in a week's time, Messi is a doubt. The Argentine is currently recovering a knee problem and has been training away from the rest of Ququie Setien's sqaud, though he should return to the group in few days time.
Setien will be in need of a full strength side as they are currently in the midst of a tense title race with Clasico rivals Real Madrid.
Los Blancos are currently sat in second placed just two points adrift of their bitter enemies. The momentum seemed to be with Zinedine Zidane's side prior to lockdown as they defeated Barça 2-0 in March.
